Rathkeale College - Old Boys' Association
The Old Boys’ Association was founded very early in the College’s history and exists as one of the College’s significant support groups.
All school leavers automatically become members of the Association which continually works to the advantage of the College, the students and the Old Boys.
Over the years the provision of the main gates, the squash court and the new cricket pavilion have been significant projects.
In addition social occasions such as balls, dinners, cocktail parties, sports fixtures and regional meetings have all been facilitated.
Recent new leadership of the Association has led to a focus on enhancing the Association's data base capabilities, on creating a scholarship fund and on ensuring a sound financial footing for the Old Boys.
The annual “Rock Runner” publication seeks to keep Old Boys in touch with the College and each other. Closer communication can be made through the College’s Development Office or via contact with members of the committee.
